Introducing the New Team Members: Carina Roth, Lucy Izquierdo Greene, and Alvaro Egido
Carina Roth, a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, brings deep expertise in health tech from her experience at Calm/Storm Ventures, where she backed early-stage teams building in Europe and the US, from a social network promoting healthier lifestyles to PetTech and solutions improving adherence to oncology treatments. A former HR- & AgeTech founder with a strong background in marketplaces, she joins Fund F as an Investment Manager, bringing firsthand experience in building impact-driven companies. Having navigated the challenges of entrepreneurship herself, she will provide hands-on support and sparring to Fund F’s portfolio founders.
Lucy Izquierdo Greene joins as an Analyst with experience at SISTAFUND and Zencap Asset Management, where she focused on gender-balanced and sustainable investments. With a solid foundation in VC and ESG analysis, Lucy’s background equips her to drive impactful investment support at Fund F.
Alvaro Egido joins as a Visiting Analyst, bringing expertise from his master’s studies at Nova SBE and his fintech experience at Viva Wallet. His entrepreneurial background as co-founder of Cobuddy adds further depth to Fund F’s investment team.

The new hires join an accomplished team led by Fund F co-founders and General Partners Lisa-Marie Fassl and Nina Wöss, recognized advocates for gender diversity and innovation in the European startup landscape.
